Where’s Jared?

March 12, 2021 By John DeProspo 3 Comments

Reprint from moronmajority.com

Since leaving his position, in January, as White House senior advisor, Jared Kushner seems to be missing in action.

During Donald Trump’s appearance at last month’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Jared Kushner was noticeably absent from his side.

A source close to Kushner has said, “Right now, he’s just checked out of politics.”

And who could blame him!

While serving as his father-in-law’s right-hand man, Kushner was tasked with an inordinate level of responsibility. He was responsible for negotiating peace in the Middle East; he was responsible for solving America’s opioid crisis; he was responsible for diplomacy with Mexico; he was responsible for reforming care for veterans; he was responsible for reforming the criminal justice system; he was responsible for reinventing the entire government and making it work like a business; and he was responsible for leading a coronavirus task force!

Is it any wonder the man needs a break?

A close family friend has revealed the Boy Wonder, as some have called Kushner, is chilling out by spending time on his one true passion … creating art.

Much like George W. Bush after he left the White House, Kushner spends his days painting and drawing. But unlike Bush, who liked to paint portraits of important world leaders, Kushner passes the time mostly on drawings of his family.

So What’s Up With Jared And Ivanka?

April 19, 2018 By John DeProspo Leave a Comment

With so much drama surrounding the White House these past few weeks … with round-the-clock news coverage of mistresses, Playboy bunnies, FBI raids, Michael Cohen … there has been very little press devoted to two familiar names, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.

It’s as if Jarvanka (as the couple is derisively called) skipped town.

Well, last week, they did.

The two attended the Summit of the Americas in Lima, Peru, along with Vice President Mike Pence, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, and United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.

Some observers have noted that whenever things heat up in Washington D.C., the power couple seems to make themselves scarce.

As Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare were sinking in the Senate during the spring of 2017, Kushner and family skied in Aspen. During protests in defense of confederate monuments in Charlottesville in August, Jared and Ivanka escaped Washington, D.C. for a quick trip to Vermont.

And so, following the raid of the home, office and hotel room of Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, Jarvanka decides to head for Peru?

It is possible what law enforcement agents find in documents seized from Cohen (e-mails, tax documents, and business records, or from whatever Cohen decides to share with investigators) could be very harmful for Jarvanka.

The Summit of the Americas is a two-day gathering for heads of state from the Western hemisphere that occurs every three years.

Though the summit has ended, no one seems to be sure of the current whereabouts of Jared and Ivanka. Have they decided to extend their stay?

Does anyone know if Peru and the United States have an extradition agreement?

Mr. Mueller, Another Indictment … Please

December 24, 2017 By John DeProspo 2 Comments

It is holiday time but we are not in a festive mood.

The national embarrassment sitting in the White House has zapped us of our usual holiday cheer. Try as we may, we just cannot jingle our bells or deck our halls as in years past. We need something only you can provide that will lift us out of our funk … an indictment or two.

Yes, we were happy when you announced your first indictments against Paul Manafort and Richard Gates. We were thrilled when George Papadopoulos was the first Trump aide to plead guilty in your Trump-Russia probe. But that was nearly two months ago.

We were more than ecstatic when you got former Trump national security advisor, Mike Flynn, to plead guilty to lying to the FBI. But that too was nearly one month ago.

We are in disperate need of a new dose of good news.

An indictment against Donald Trump Jr., or Jared Kushner, would do just fine.

We know you have the goods on these two loathsome human beings. Why not make your announcement now … before the start of the New Year?

We have been given a heads up by Senate Intelligence Committee member, Mark Warner, that something big is about to come down the pike.  While appearing on MSNBC this week, Warner confirmed that “more” indictments are coming. So why not now?

Call it our Christmas present.

What’s that you say? Too cruel to announce indictments at Christmas time? You and your team of investigators would be seen as mean, biased, partisan hacks?

Sorry, but a good portion of the country, along with the man occupying the Oval Office and many congressional Republicans, already see your investigation as a “witch hunt.”

But we trust your judgment. If you are waiting until after the start of 2018 to drop the hammer of justice, I guess we can wait.

God bless you, Mr. Mueller. God bless us, every one.
